Syncee review & guide to finding Shopify suppliers

Syncee is a multi-supplier marketplace, not a single supplier. It lets your Shopify store import products from many independent suppliers — each with its own prices, shipping and return rules. That makes it powerful for finding suppliers near your customers, and it means the real skill is learning to judge each supplier on its own.

How we wrote this: an independently researched editorial guide based on Syncee's official website and help center, checked 12 October 2026. It is not a hands-on review — we have not used Syncee to run a store or ordered from its suppliers. Prices and policies change, so confirm details on the linked sources.

What is Syncee?

Syncee describes itself as a dropshipping and wholesale marketplace where stores on supported ecommerce platforms connect and sell each other's products. Retailers import products; suppliers handle shipping and fulfillment.[source] Its help center calls it the technical link between suppliers and retailers — the products, their shipping and their returns are handled by the suppliers directly.[source]

How a multi-supplier marketplace works

Think of it as a directory with a shopping cart. Hundreds of independent businesses list their catalogues; you pick products from any of them and import them into your store. When a customer orders, you pay the relevant supplier and that supplier ships the item.

How this differs from a single supplier

With platforms like Zendrop or Trendsi, one company sets the shipping and return rules for everything you sell. On Syncee, every supplier has its own rules. More choice, but more homework: two products in the same order can come from two companies, two countries and two return policies.

Why location matters

Where a product ships from shapes delivery time, shipping cost, customs and returns. Syncee's own guide recommends the "Ship from" filter to find suppliers closest to your target market.[source]

Before committing: browsing is free, but importing products needs a paid plan. Shortlist suppliers, check their terms and run the numbers before starting a subscription — and remember Syncee's trial is short (3 days when checked).[source]

How Syncee works — a beginner's workflow

Twelve steps from idea to fulfilled order, with who's responsible at each stage.

  1. 1. Choose a niche and target customer

    You

Decide what you sell and to whom before browsing millions of products.

  2. 2. Decide where your customers live

    You

This drives every later filter — shipping origin, destination and delivery time.

  3. 3. Create or connect your Shopify store

    You + Shopify

Install the retailer Syncee app from the Shopify App Store.

  4. 4. Browse the marketplace

    Syncee

Search by keyword or filter by category, ship-from, supplier location, price and margin.

  5. 5. Filter by origin and destination

    You, using Syncee

Narrow to suppliers that ship from near your customers and to their country.

  6. 6. Evaluate individual suppliers

    You

Open each supplier storefront: catalog, warehouse, shipping costs, delivery estimates, terms.

  7. 7. Check whether approval is needed

    Supplier

Some suppliers review your request before you can import their products.

  8. 8. Review costs and margins

    You

Product cost + supplier shipping + fees + ads — use the profit calculator.

  9. 9. Import products on an eligible plan

    You, using Syncee

Importing needs a paid Marketplace plan; products land in Shopify.

  10. 10. Set pricing, shipping and store policies

    You + Shopify

Pricing rules in Syncee; shipping rates, returns policy and checkout in Shopify.

  11. 11. Receive an order and pay the supplier

    You

The order syncs to Syncee; you pay the supplier by PayPal or card. Only then is it forwarded.

  12. 12. Track fulfillment and support customers

    Supplier ships; you support

Tracking syncs to Shopify; customer questions and refunds are yours to handle.

Order flow based on Syncee's Shopify guide and order management article.[source][source]

Not hands-free: orders sync automatically, but nothing ships until you pay the supplier. Syncee's guide states you collect payment from your customer in Shopify and separately pay the supplier for product cost and shipping.[source]

Finding and judging suppliers on a marketplace

This is where Syncee differs most from single-supplier platforms — and where beginners make the most avoidable mistakes.

Supplier location vs. shipping origin

Syncee offers separate filters for "Ship from" and "Supplier location".[source] They answer different questions: where the business is registered versus where the parcel leaves from. A company based in one country may ship some products from a warehouse elsewhere. For delivery time and customs, the shipping origin is what counts — confirm it on each product's shipping details.

Selling countries vs. supplier countries

A supplier based in the US or the EU doesn't automatically deliver to every US state or every EU country, let alone worldwide. Syncee lets you filter by supplier location and by "shipping to" region or country.[source] Always check the destination list for your actual customers.

Researching suppliers by region

Syncee publishes supplier lists for Europe, the USA, Australia, Canada and Asia & Africa, and notes the lists may not include every supplier on the marketplace.[source] Availability differs by region and category, so treat these as starting points:

Selling toWhat to look for
United StatesUS ship-from origin; confirm which states and territories are served.
CanadaCanadian or US origin; check duties and cross-border fees on US shipments.
United KingdomUK origin avoids post-Brexit customs on EU parcels; check VAT on imports.
European UnionEU origin usually avoids customs within the EU; check each destination country.
AustraliaAustralian origin for shorter domestic delivery; check remote-area surcharges.
Other regionsFilter by 'shipping to' your country first; expect fewer options and longer times.

Regional notes are general guidance from us, not Syncee data. Customs and tax rules change — check official sources for your market.

How to assess one supplier

Before importing anything, review each supplier on its own terms:

Syncee's own advice is to work with a small number of trusted suppliers but import a wide range of their products — sensible for beginners who don't want to juggle many different policies.[source]

Supplier approval

Some suppliers want to approve retailers before their products can be uploaded to a store. They may review your store or message you, and you can filter for approval-needed suppliers in advanced search.[source] Approval is the supplier's decision and is never guaranteed — a product you can see on the marketplace isn't necessarily one you can sell yet. A complete, credible store helps when you request access.

Features & capabilities

Dropshipping marketplace

Keyword search and filters for category, ship-from, supplier location, price range and margin; supplier storefronts; import lists for collecting products before uploading them. The help center mentions 8 million+ products to browse.[source][source]

Shopify integration

Working with multiple suppliers

A broader range is the upside. The downside: different shipping rules, different return policies, and possibly split shipments when one customer order contains items from two suppliers — two parcels, two tracking numbers, two shipping fees. Payments are per supplier too; bulk checkout only groups orders from the same supplier.[source]

Wholesale

Syncee also promotes wholesale buying: start with dropshipping, then buy in bulk once products sell well.[source][source] Wholesale means paying upfront and holding stock, so only consider it after you've validated demand and can afford unsold inventory.

Syncee AI Agent

An AI assistant next to the search bar helps discover products and suppliers. The pricing page lists it on all plans; the help center lists AI Search Tokens per paid plan (25 Basic, 50 Pro, 75 Business, 100 Plus), with each question — including follow-ups — using one token.[source][source] We couldn't confirm how many tokens the Free plan includes. This is Syncee's tool and separate from our own free AI product analyzer.

What "automation" means here

Syncee automates syncing — product data, prices, orders and tracking. It doesn't pay suppliers on its own initiative unless you set that up, and it can't make every supplier fast or reliable. Syncee mentions an Auto Order feature; we didn't verify its conditions, so check the help center before relying on it. Integration features can also differ between platforms and suppliers.

Syncee pricing & the real costs

Shipping, orders & returns

Shipping

Syncee doesn't handle shipping. Each supplier sets its own costs, delivery times and destinations, and ships straight to your customer.[source] Points to check per supplier: shipping origin, countries served, processing time, delivery estimates, fees, tracking and customs. Orders containing items from different suppliers will arrive separately. There's no universal delivery time — tell customers realistic, supplier-specific estimates.

Order processing

  1. A customer orders in your Shopify store.
  2. The order appears automatically in Syncee's Orders menu.
  3. You pay the supplier in Syncee via PayPal or card (options depend on the supplier), in the supplier's chosen currency — USD, EUR, GBP, CAD, AUD or HUF.
  4. The paid order is forwarded to the supplier, who ships it and provides tracking.
  5. Tracking and fulfillment status sync to Shopify, which emails your customer.

Working capital: your customer's payment and your payment to the supplier are separate. Payment processor payouts can take days, but suppliers need paying before they ship — keep enough cash to cover orders in the meantime. Once an order is paid and forwarded you can't edit it in Syncee; contact the supplier quickly for address fixes.[source]

Returns & refunds

Each supplier sets its own return, refund and warranty conditions, and Syncee says it doesn't take part in trading between retailers and suppliers — you contact the supplier directly.[source] Meanwhile, you're the seller to your customer and responsible for their refund requests. Consumer-protection laws in your customers' country may give them rights a supplier's policy doesn't cover, so that gap can become your cost.

Frequently asked questions

What is Syncee?

Syncee is a dropshipping and wholesale marketplace plus store app. It connects retailers with many independent suppliers: you import their products into your store, and each supplier ships the orders. Syncee provides the technical link — it is not the physical supplier or shipping company.

Is Syncee free?

There is a Free plan ($0) for exploring: browsing products, seeing wholesale prices, saving favourites and limited supplier details. Importing products into your store needs a paid Marketplace plan. When we checked on 12 October 2026, monthly plans were Basic $39.99, Pro $59.99 and Business $99.99 (USD), with a 3-day free trial on monthly plans.

How much does Syncee cost?

Monthly Marketplace plans listed when checked: Basic $39.99 (100 products, 1 supplier), Pro $59.99 (250 products, unlimited suppliers), Business $99.99 (10,000 products). The help center also lists a Plus plan and annual plans around 25% cheaper. You still pay for products, supplier shipping, Shopify and everything else separately.

What does 'Approval Needed' mean on Syncee?

Some suppliers review retailers before allowing them to import and sell their products. You send a request and the supplier decides; approval is not guaranteed. Finding a product on the marketplace doesn't always mean you can sell it right away.

Does Syncee fulfil orders automatically?

Not by itself. Shopify orders sync to Syncee automatically, but you must pay each supplier (PayPal or card) for product cost and shipping. After payment, the order is forwarded to the supplier, who ships it; tracking syncs back to Shopify.

How do returns work with Syncee?

Each supplier sets its own return, refund and warranty conditions. Syncee says it doesn't take part in trading between retailers and suppliers, so you contact the supplier for returns — and you handle refunds for your own customers.

How do I find suppliers close to my customers?

Use the 'Ship from' and supplier location filters, and the shipping-to region or country filter. Then open each supplier's shipping details: a supplier's location doesn't guarantee where a product ships from or which countries it delivers to.
